All horses found to carry 80% or more Quarter Horse blood (and meet all other NFQHA breed certification criteria), are Certified as National Foundation Quarter Horses; and are issued a Foundation Certificate along with a Blood Analysis Fact Sheet showing all Thoroughbreds found in the pedigree; and are eligible to compete in NFQHA events.
